Mark Nash has been professionally involved with bikes for the past 15 years. He is a keen cyclist and cycle tourer, and has cycled through many countries, completing a charity fundraising tour from the UK to Kenya in 2009. Mark has a passion for bikes, cycling and cycle maintenance that goes back to his Dutch roots!
In 2005 Mark started working as the sole member of staff with one of the UK’s first cargo bike courier services in the UK, Zedify in Cambridge.
Zedify grew from strength to strength and now has over 10 depots across the country delivering thousands of items a week. The company expanded in the cycling world by starting a training business that now successfully runs the Bikeability training scheme across 7 counties. There is also a separate events and bike maintenance company.
Mark continues to work across all three of these companies as a senior cargo bike courier, qualified and experienced cycle instructor and cycle events co-ordinator.
Mark’s vision with Dr. Bike in Hitchin is to make bike maintenance easy and accessible for all, ultimately getting more people on their bikes!
